U SuLé

Inmersive installation about the U SuLé, cosmic house of the indigenous Bribri tribe of Costa Rica

Description

The U SuLé installation for the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum, is a representation of the conic cosmic house of the Bribri indigenous people of Costa Rica, this house represent their cosmic vision of the universe, where they have 9 levels, each of them different, for example, in one lives their god "Sibö", in other one lives the spirit of the animals, and in other one lives the humans.

The installation was buid by Pulse, where we created a cylinder of projection, with a pole in the center (just like the original conic house) which has the level-selection control, which is a magnetic system that allows the user to navigate thru the cosmic universe with total freedom, and in a very clean way, without exposed cables or electronics.
